With twice the thickness of other primers it fills pinholes and seal voids in surfaces providing a smoother and more uniform topcoat. A plain gray cinder block wall can be a wide expanse of bland. Primers are generally white but they can usually be tinted the same color as your latex paint to add depth to your wall color.

In most cases the primer and paint should be applied to concrete block with an airless sprayer and back rolled. Kilz 2 all purpose 2 gal. Prime the cinder block. Adding a smooth coat of seal krete damplock masonry and waterproofing paint can raise the visual appeal of the uninspired space.
